- I am a children's book illustrator and I live in Vermont with my husband, two cats, and some chickens, some guinea hens and two sheep. I love spending time with my kids, working with farm animals, biking, playing my guitar (badly) and traveling with my husband. But most of all I love writing and making pictures in my studio.

I love your watercolors, especially the gestural sky. Great how the bat and toad have similar coloring.
Both really great critters. After the initial shock of meeting, perhaps they are exchanging notes on the best bug catching spots!

Great work! A single picture but holds a lot of expression you can describe. I thought the bat was a frog-pig combination. hahahaha!
