I am a children's book illustrator and I live in Vermont with my husband, two cats, and some chickens, some guinea hens and two sheep. I love spending time with my kids, working with farm animals, biking, playing my guitar (badly) and traveling with my husband. But most of all I love writing and making pictures in my studio.

This is really nice? They both look puzzled!
I love your watercolors, especially the gestural sky. Great how the bat and toad have similar coloring.
Both really great critters. After the initial shock of meeting, perhaps they are exchanging notes on the best bug catching spots!
Love all your creatures, but your frogs especially! Marvelous watercolors everywhere on your site.
So cute! Love the style and their expressions. Looks to me like the toad may be explaining some very important fact of life to the bat.
Their expressions are great!
Especially love the little bat! great to see animals not often portrayed.
Great work! A single picture but holds a lot of expression you can describe. I thought the bat was a frog-pig combination. hahahaha!
